Health can be defined as a state of complete physical, mental, social and spiritual well being, which consists of maintaining the body as much as possible by following daily advice and preventive measures to reduce the possibility of diseases. Health has an important role in feeling happy, as there are many people who suffer from diseases, but health enables them to fight diseases, as a result, they achieve physical fitness and feel comfortable or enjoy life like any normal person.

Being healthy should be part of your overall lifestyle. Living a healthy lifestyle can help prevent chronic diseases and long-term illnesses. Feeling good about yourself and taking care of your health is important for your self-esteem and self-image. Maintain a healthy lifestyle by doing what is right for your body.

Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities.” This means that health is a resource to support an individual’s function in wider society, rather than an end in itself. A healthful lifestyle provides the means to lead a full life with meaning and purpose. Health education builds students’ knowledge, skills and positive attitudes about health. Health education teaches about physical, mental, emotional and social health. It motivates students to improve and maintain their health, prevent disease and reduce risky behaviours.

There are five main aspects of personal health: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual.Good health is central to human happiness and well-being that contributes significantly to prosperity and wealth and even economic progress, as healthy populations are more productive, save more and live longer. 

For a healthy life cycle, you need a healthy and balanced diet, good hygiene habits, staying in a proper shelter and getting enough sleep. In addition, you will have to participate in physical activities, weight management, and stress management activities.
